Ethics in Media and Inclusive Communication

Ethical Storytelling and Representation

This module explores the challenges and ethical concerns surrounding social communication in the digital age. Participants will gain an understanding of how information flows, misinformation spreads, and narratives are shaped in modern media. The course provides practical tools for assessing media credibility, constructing ethical narratives, and identifying bias in digital communication.

Before starting the lessons, participants should watch the video above, which discusses the evolving landscape of digital communication, misinformation challenges, and the responsibility of media creators.

This lesson is the beginning of this journey and before we start we have to make sure we are on the same page, read through the Decalogue below and countinue to the next lesson by pledging that you will follow its spirit in your actions.

You can also download the guide and use it in your website as a further pledge to follow the ethical guidelines for social communication

Both the video and the decalogue were created in the framework of Erasmus+ Project Social Communication Forum 2.0
